Meet Corey Busch, LMFT — IFS Therapist in Minneapolis

I'm a husband, dad, and board game enthusiast who knows what it feels like to be stuck in anxiety and depression. The reason I care so deeply about this work is personal: healing changed my life from the inside out.

Today, I help adults in Minneapolis and across Minnesota uncover the same steady calm, confidence, and inner sense of “I'm okay” that already lives within them.

Why I Chose IFS

I chose IFS because it is compassionate, practical, and deeply effective. Instead of treating your reactions as problems to eliminate, we get curious about what each part of you is trying to protect. That shift alone can create relief, and over time it opens the door to lasting healing.

A Grounded, Respectful Approach to Healing

I work at your pace, with care and respect for your experience. IFS is at the center of my approach because it helps us understand and heal the root of emotional pain, not just manage symptoms.

Over time, this allows more calm, clarity, and confidence to emerge naturally.

From Overwhelm to Inner Clarity

Many people come in feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or hard on themselves. Together, we begin to build a safer relationship with your inner world.

As that happens, difficult patterns soften and your natural sense of clarity and steadiness can begin to lead.

How IFS Works

1Notice the Part

We gently notice what's showing up inside you, whether that's anxiety, shutdown, or self-criticism. There's no need to push it away. We simply begin by paying attention.

2Build Compassionate Connection

Instead of fighting what you feel, we slow down and get curious. We listen to what that part is trying to protect, and begin to relate to it with more understanding.

3Heal at the Root

As these parts feel seen and understood, the burdens they carry can begin to release. This often leads to more calm, clarity, and confidence in everyday life.
